“Very Good-Excellent overall vint cond: Offrd for your review & cnsdrtn is this fabulous & incrdbly well-pres, lg, mid-20th c, American Brutalist vint torched & welded brass, bas-relief, figurative, metal hanging wall sculpture of stands of cedar conifers, w/birds in flight, mounted on a single, wht cedar plank cut panel. The work"s sgnd on the back w/a hnd wrttn paper label that says: "Kenton & Dies, Architectural Designers" in ink. The cedar plank is nat slghtly cupped due to it continuing to dry out over the 65-70+ yrs since it was orig rlzd in the 1950"s. There are however, no splits or fractures coming in from either edge & the cedar wd surface is lrgly devoid of any noticeable scuffs or dp abrasions. The wd"s neither stained w/lt or dk stains. The torched & welded brass figurative graphic iconography, feats stands of conifers, with some lg & sm, stndng upright or slghtly leaning to 1 side. These brass elements are mounted to the board facia w/cut nails. Absolutely beautiful. Cool.”
