Auf dünnem Büttenpapier, teils mit Wasserzeichen. Die berühmte Suite entstand unter dem Eindruck des Guerillakrieges gegen Napoleon 1810-1813. Sie gilt vielen als die vollendetste Leistung des Künstlers auf dem Gebiet der Aquatinta-Radierung. -- sehr gut erhalten. || Rare original etching by Francisco de Goya from the third edition of his series Los Desastres de la Guerra from 1903. -- Size of sheet: c. 9.25 x 12.6 inches. Size of plate: c. 6.7 x 8.27 inches. -- The famous suite was created under the impression of the guerrilla war against Napoleon 1810-1813. Many consider it to be the artist"s most accomplished achievement in the field of aquatint etching. in very good condition.”
