Shutters are stripped using caustic so will need surface finishing prior to decorative finishing, usually only light sanding. Many of these are pitch pine which usually means 1 side gets a little woollier than the other , this simply sands off easily.Shutters will have been used before so will have old hinge , lock and key holes and possibly surface damage also , ASK for more photos if you are not happy with the detail of those provided and you are welcome to visit our premises to inspect prior to purchase and collection if required. This x2 pairs still in paint but will be stripped prior to shipping.”
