“KDF & V means: Kongeligt Dansk Fyr- & Vagervæsen.in english: Royal danish lighthouse and seamark Agency.At one point, the Lighthouse agency were required to turn in all their binoculars for service at the navy optical workshop.At the same time, the navy painted them grey.Not quite danish navy, but still rare and interesting.Brass binoculars are in good condition. All brass. Shows signs of prior use. Shows some dings, no dents, paint wear and shows some scratches to the metal parts. Hoods slide smoothly and stay in place. Special naval grey colored paint cover is complete and shows wear. The elements are in good condition, no separation, no haze, some cleaning marks, some small scratches, no fungus on or in between the elements. Some dust particles inside. Eye-cups in good condition, shows no dings. Just visible and readable at the eye-cups is ‘ Cornelius Knudsen Kjobehavn’ The focus ring”
