Blatt-Maße: jedes Bild ca. 33 x 20,5 cm. -- Amerika mit kleineren hinterlegten Einrissen und leicht wasserfleckig, sonst gut erhalten. || Very rare series of 4 engravings. -- America with small deposited tear and slightly waterstained, otherwise in good condition. || Nicolas Guerard war ein französischer Kupferstecher, Verleger und Grafik-Händler. Er wurde um 1648 in der Normandie geboren. Sein Vater Michel Guerard war ein normannischer Papiermacher. Sein Bruder Francois Guerard war ebenfalls Verleger und Grafik-Händler. Nicolas war der Schüler von Francois Chauveau in Paris. Er starb 1719. Sein Sohn Nicolas wurde um 1680 geboren, er war auch Kupferstecher und Designer. // Nicolas Guerard was a French engraver, publisher and merchant of prints. He was born around 1648 in the Normandy.
