Well carved back with ornate panel insert and scroll carved arms all in solid mahogany..The sturdy mahogany frame with carved armrests tapering legs all joined by a lower stretchers. Nice and sturdy ideal as armchair or bedroom chair.The vintage 1930"s wool work seat is useable as is or ideal for a Georgian striped upholstery or even leather to add colour and style. The seat is made comfortable with stitched edge and coiled springs beneath. Danish early 1900"s Art Deco or Biedermeier revival in the Empire manner of 1815.
